The Home Current’s Martin Jensen serves up European electronic dreams with a beautifully crafted mix for Concrete Islands
Danish-born Martin Jensen lives in Luxembourg near the border of Belgium and has dug deep into the surrounding culture to put together a sequence of musical pleasures strong on place and fluid in time. It makes for an exhilarating European experience, offering the sort of connective tissue to the continent that should never be lost.
Keep dancing and dreaming. Embrace the future. Resist Brexit.
Jensen’s debut LP as The Home Current, Another Way of Falling Apart, was released last year on Polytechnic Youth. Three Home Current albums are expected over 2019, to be released by Static Caravan, Castles In Space and Polytechnic Youth.
